Why do some people fail to win in Business?
Why failing to Control the Controllables is the biggest cause of Business Failure
1) Our Education provides the same input to one and all but different people benefit differently from it. Why does this happen?
2) The reason is not because some people do not comprehend. In fact even those who understand the education & wholeheartedly appreciate the the life changing ideas fail to succeed many a times
3) They understand, feel motivated but only in that MOMENT and by the time the EDUCATION is over, their hard disk is erased
4) The only reason people fail is because they fail to have control over their controllables like
A) People attend Education sessions but fail to pay full attention. They are distracted. Their laptop is on but they switch off the video and start searching for Whatsapp messages or surf social media for the next LIKE
B) They learn but fail to take Action because learning DOES NOT COST MUCH but taking Action is the Cost of Doing Business
C) They appreciate but fail to Implement because implementing is “Accepting Change” AND ACCEPTING CHANGE IS NOT EASY
D) They remain absent by finding the most creative reasons for missing crucial sessions
E) They promise to see the recording of the missed sessions but fail to do so
F) They fail to record our business nos. A simple act of recording business parameters alone can make a difference to our business outcomes but people fail to look at the different Business Metrics regularly as prescribed
G) They are not mindful about setting up a Plan for Review Meetings, New Business Meetings, Employee meetings etc
H) They fail to pay attention to their diet, their exercises and their sleep. Our health is the most important factor for our business success & despite providing tools to help implement these controllables, people fail to get disciplined
12) All the above are controllable factors
13) The Outcome of “Controlling the Controllables” is getting “Complete Control over the Uncontrollables which is nothing but achieving elusive Business Target”
14) Let’s STOP searching for “Excuses”. The only reason we fail is not because we are not intelligent enough, not because our desire to succeed is any less, not because we are not good enough BUT ONLY BECAUSE WE ARE NOT DISCIPLINED ENOUGH AND DO NOT SHOW THE RESOLVE TO CONTROL THE CONTROLLABLES
15) It is time to call a spade a spade and take responsibility for our situation
16) AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, THOSE WHO SUCCEED ARE NOT NECESSARILY THE MOST INTELLIGENT BUT ARE MOST MINDFUL ABOUT “CONTROLLING THEIR CONTROLLABLES”
