It all begins with Yourself

1) You can attend as many Training Workshops and do as many courses as you like

2) But it will all result in a big naught unless you work upon yourself. Money does not buy permanent happiness

3) A training workshop is like a tool provided to you

4) Nothing will happen unless you use the tool to chisel away the unwanted residue accumulated over years

5) Like Fat accumulated in our body, we also have Fat accumulated around our thinking

6) The body fat is so easily visible that one cannot deny it’s existence and hence people set out to rid themselves of it

7) But what about the Fat around our Thinking

8) Who will notice this?

9) Only you can notice this kind of fat around your thinking provided you are mindful and humble enough to do so. Unfortunately for most people their Ego comes in the path of this realization

10) Taking Action and Implementing is the secret to success

11) But Taking Action and Implementing is ALSO the most difficult step to success

12) Unless you can overcome the initial inertia by making a declaration to the world around you about your commitment OR

13) Hire a coach and surrender completely to him or her, it will become impossible to overcome this initial inertia

14) A firm intention, a strong commitment, a big determination all are needed to do tirelessly do the good but boring things

15) This is the journey from intent to habit

16) Once you have entered the habit zone nobody can ever stop you. The boring things no longer remain boring. Rather they become an inspiration and the very purpose of a meaningful life

17) The massive Tobacco industry was born and flourishes on the back of habit albeit in this case we are referring to a Bad Habit.

(Bad Habits are easy to adopt because they appear interesting in the beginning while Good Habits appear boring but in the end one realizes the difference between what is meaningful and what is meaningless)

18) People jogging in the morning, going to the gym for workouts, cycling, trekking etc. all appeared as Gargantuan tasks at one point in time till eventually it not only becomes a habit but also an inspiration and purpose

19) Someone who can just do the job of making you aware and push you in the appropriate direction is in itself the best medicine

20) This is the Golden Push that you need to invest in ; that transforms you from an ordinary mortal into a legend

21) Therefore if you look around, you will never ever find a champion without a coach. It’s impossible

22) Some of the habit causing methods are

A) Start Small : What is important is to exercise regularly. The “regularly” part is more important than the “exercise” in the beginning. Just walk for 15 mins in the beginning if you are forming a new habit but ensure it is done regularly

B) Set a Context : A context is like an alarm clock but less intrusive (less disturbing). Let’s say, hitting the Gym for 15 mins before breakfast. The breakfast beckons you but you have built a “Guilt Barrier” and cannot consume breakfast without paying the tax you have designed for yourself in the form of a 15 mins treadmill walk

C) Make it Fun : Listen to an Audiobook / Podcast while exercising. Initially the Audiobook will be the reason to Exercise but once the habit sets in, the Exercise will be the reason to listen to the Audiobook

22) A life which is designed is a life which allows you to compound your results

23) A person can live his life multiple times over if he designs his life

24) Otherwise the life you lead is a default life;

25) One in which you stand at the center and allow the ecosystem around you to change

26) If you’re lucky some good things will happen to you

27) Otherwise you run the risk to becoming irrelevant for your friends, family, colleagues and overall ecosystem faster than you can ever imagine

28) Live a Designed Life
